Anita Ghavidel
Introduction
I am a final-year student at the Australian International School in Singapore, graduating in 2026, and already working in industry: I lead marketing for a British AI automation startup while preparing to study financial consultancy.
I am Persian by heritage, and I have lived half my life in Australia and the other half in Singapore — so I have spent my school years moving between cultures, teams and rooms where I was the youngest person present, which is where I learned to listen first and contribute quickly. My work so far sits in two places: marketing an AI automation company out of the United Kingdom, and service work that has taken me from a resort back-of-house to classrooms in rural India. Both taught me the same lesson, that careful teams outperform capable individuals.
What I bring to a team is unglamorous and useful: I arrive prepared, I ask the question everyone is avoiding, and I finish what I start.

What I focus on
Three interests, held together by one habit: asking the better question
Financial consultancy
Reading an organisation through its numbers, then turning what they say into a decision someone can act on this week. I am heading into finance with one rule already settled: analysis is not finished until the people it affects understand it.
AI integration & automation
Most teams do not need more software; they need the repetitive half of their week handed to a system that does not tire. I market exactly that at Lemons Services, which taught me to sell the outcome rather than the technology.
Leading teams well
Six seasons of water polo and a week inside a working resort taught me the same lesson from two directions: pace, clarity and morale are a leader’s real deliverables, and all three are built long before the pressure arrives.
